This is the class to attend if you have completed a previous Introduction to Ballet class or have some previous training. Students will delve more deeply into the basics of ballet. Dancers will continue to expand on ballet vocabulary, exercises at the barre,  and add new challenging steps and combinations across the floor.


Attire: Ballet slippers and appropriate athletic apparel or leotard

Fun with Fosse – Adult Dance Workshop

"Come on babe, why don't we paint the town...and all that jazz!" by learning dances inspired by 8 time Tony Award winning Director-Choreographer Bob Fosse! One of the most influential men in jazz dance history, Bob Fosse created a unique dance style that is practiced in dance studios throughout the world. His amazing choreography continues to live on through several great Broadway musicals such as "Cabaret", "Damn Yankees" and "Chicago."

Yogalates is a blend of Yoga and Pilates incorporating classic moves from both disciplines. We'll start and end with yoga to warm up and cool down with relaxing poses designed to center yourself, align your body and focus on your breath. We'll work up to more advanced poses throughout the 6 weeks. The middle of class will be Pilates where we engage the core and break a sweat using just your body weight. You'll feel more mobile, balanced and flexible at the end of this course.

Adult Beginning-Intermediate Tap Workshop


This tap workshop is geared towards the beginning to intermediate tapper. Starting with tap basics and going into time steps and more! Each class will start off with a warm up to get your feet moving, then across the floor basics, and end by putting it together within a combination. If you have always wanted to tap or if you need to brush up and get better and faster with your basics, this workshop is for you!

Beginning Adult Jazz

This class is designed for beginning adult dancers who are looking for energized fun, with both classic and current music of today. Class introduces students to syncopated rhythms, isolated body movements, and classic jazz moves.  Focus is on improving rhythm, coordination, musicality, and strength. Attire: comfortable clothing in which you can easily move and jazz shoes, jazz sneakers, or thin socks.

Musical Theatre Audition Workshop

The Musical Theater Audition Workshop is developed to give actors the tools and insight needed to have a successful audition. The workshop will cover all 3 areas of skill needed in musical theater (vocal, dance and acting). To get the most of the class, each participant should come prepared with 2 audition songs (a ballad and an uptempo approximately 16 bars each, please bring accompaniment tracks on a device that can be connected to a blue tooth speaker or be prepared to sing acapella), 2 monologues (one serious and one comedic each approximately 2 minutes in length), wear clothing and shoes that will allow you to dance and a pen and notepad. If you do not have prepared audition material you can still participate. 


Topics that will be covered will include; audition etiquette, practicing your audition monologues and songs in a group environment, insight as to what the artistic staff is looking for at auditions, learning from other performers, how to prepare, how to remained focused when you are nervous, tackling the dance audition routine, dance technique and evaluation for the beginner through advanced level, having a variable repertoire of material ready for auditions. 



Jeff Teague has Choreographed/ Directed with companies throughout California including Alameda CLO, Contra Contra Costa Music Theater, Diablo Light Opera Company, Bracebridge Dinner in Yosemite, Bay Area Educational Theater Company, Placer Pops Chorale and Inland Valley Repertory. Favorite productions include CHICAGO (IVRT-Outstanding Production of a Musical and Best Choreography-LA Stage and Screen), RAGTIME (DLOC/Shelly Award), HAIR, AIDA and EVITA (ACLO), and DAMN YANKEES (CCMT-Shelly Nomination). He was Executive/Artistic Director at ACLO and Associate Artistic Director at IVRT. Jeff also taught at the Westlake School of Performing Arts in Palo Alto and currently teaches at Lamorinda Theater Arts Academy in Lafayette, Lincoln Theater Company and is the resident choreographer for the Davis Jazz Choir.  As a performer he worked for 4 years at the Curtain Call Dinner Theater in Tustin, Ca, toured with the Young Americans was a dancer at Disneyland. Other productions include No, No, Nanette (LaMirada Civic Light Opera) starring Susan Egan, Babes (RK Productions) starring Stephanie Block,  Pajama Game (California Music Theater) starring Pat Harrington, Mary Jo Catlett, and Patti Colombo and The Man Who Came To Dinner  (Inland Valley Repertory) starring Nedra Volz. Other favorite roles include The Snake, Balleader and Narrator in The Apple Tree and Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz. Jeff is also the Youth Director at Elk Grove Methodist Church where he shares his passion of faith and inclusion with people of his community.
