50-60’s Musical Theatre Style

Dance Workshop


This four-week series of dance classes celebrates musicals set in the 1950's and 1960's. Classes will focus on technique, stretching and learning dance numbers to your favorite 50's-60's musical theater numbers. This class is perfect for beginning-intermediate level students.


Ages 14-Adult

February 17-March 10.


Tuition: $35 if registering by February 5. $40 if registering after February 5.

About the Instructor:

Jeff has choreographed and directed for companies throughout California including Alameda CLO, Contra Contra Costa Music Theater, Diablo Light Opera Company, The Bracebridge Dinner in Yosemite, Bay Area Educational Theater Company, Placer Pops Chorale and Inland Valley Repertory. Favorite productions include CHICAGO (IVRT-Outstanding Production of a Musical and Best Choreography-LA Stage and Screen), RAGTIME (DLOC/Shelly Award), HAIR, AIDA and EVITA (ACLO), and DAMN YANKEES (CCMT-Shelly Nomination). He was Executive/Artistic Director at ACLO and Associate Artistic Director at IVRT. Jeff also taught at the Westlake School of Performing Arts in Palo Alto and Lamorinda Theater Arts Academy in Lafayette and is currently the resdient choreographer for the Davis High Jazz Choir and Lincoln Theater Company. As a performer he worked for 4 years at the Curtain Call Dinner Theater in Tustin, Ca, toured with the Young Americans and danced at Disneyland. Other productions include No, No, Nanette (LaMirada Civic Light Opera) starring Susan Egan, Babes (RK Productions) starring Stephanie Block, Pajama Game (California Music Theater) starring Pat Harrington, Mary Jo Catlett, and Patti Colombo and The Man Who Came To Dinner (Inland Valley Repertory) starring Nedra Volz. Other favorite roles include The Snake, Balleader and Narrator in The Apple Tree and Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz. Jeff is also the Youth Director at Elk Grove Methodist Church where he shares his passion of faith, diversity and inclusion with people of his community.

Adult Beginning Tap Workshop


This tap workshop is geared towards the beginning tapper. Each class will start off with a warm up to get your feet moving, then across the floor basics, and end by putting it together within a combination.

Adult Intermediate Tap Workshop


This Intermediate Tap Workshop will work on marrying speed, clarity and precision while introducing new rhythms and combinations. Learn how to take your basics to the next level and even add some tricks!

Adult Musical Theatre Dance Workshop

Whether you are interested in improving your dance audition skills, staying in shape, or just enjoy Musical Theatre, this class is for you!

Broadway Cardio

Overdid it over the holidays? Do you need to get back in shape for the new year but can't find the motivation? Have fitness goals you'd like to achieve but are bored easily? Well, never fear because we can solve ALL of those challenges with our new Broadway Cardio class! Have fun boosting your cardio while singing along to showtunes and sweating with friends, old and new! Join Andrea St. Clair for this fun-filled energetic class that will prove to be so much fun that it will make you forget that you are even working out!

For dancers who have completed Basic Adult Ballet or Level One. Class time will be spent working  barre, center, and corner combinations with adjustment for different levels of ability as needed while improving posture, balance and muscle tone. Continue to build on the graceful movements that have made ballet an enduring art form.


Wednesdays at 6pm
